Here’s How to Recycle Your Signs
- Check with local candidates or campaigns if they will be collecting their signs for reuse
- Check sign material – we can recycle rigid plastic signs that are about 1/4″ thick (see flyer below)
- Separate signs from their metal stands & cut off any zip ties or other fasteners
- Take signs & stands to the indicated drop-off locations on the listed dates and times
March 18 – March 25, 2026
- KDOT: 41W011 Burlington Rd, Campton Hills
- Bins near front of Building A – accessible 24/7 during collection period
- Kane County Recycling Center: 517 E. Fabyan Parkway, Batavia
- Open Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm
- Kane County Recycling Center: 900 Angle Tarn, West Dundee
- Located behind Village of West Dundee DPW building (gate off Beacon St.)
- Open Monday – Friday, 7am – 3pm
March 19 – March 29, 2026
- Kane County Government Center: 719 S. Batavia Ave, Geneva
- Accessible 24/7 during collection period
- Put signs into commercial container at the end of the long driveway, adjacent to the Forest Preserve
- Use separately marked containers for metal signs
